Emails

Sending to customers, the inbox, and what the add-on adds.

The page

What is the Emails page?

ComputerEmails in the sidebar under Overview (the URL is /emails). Tabs — Sent, Inbox, Drafts, Compose and Voice.
PhoneEmails in the Menu tab. Four tabs — Sent, Inbox, Drafts and Voice — and Compose opens as its own screen rather than as a tab.

This is customer email, not your personal mailbox: what DeskOps has sent on your behalf, replies that came back, drafts waiting on you, and the composer. The AI can draft here, but nothing goes out without a confirm.

The page

Who can send email from my account?

ComputerOpen Emails in the sidebar under Overview, and Settings, then Email settings for the sending address.
PhoneOpen Emails in the Menu tab, and Settings, then Email settings.

Nothing goes out without a person confirming it — the AI can draft and can offer to send, but the send itself is always a confirm, never silent. Team members with access to Emails can send; what address it comes from is set once in Settings → Email settings.

The add-on

How do I remind customers about a seasonal tune-up or service?

ComputerOpen Customers, then At Risk for who has gone quiet. Emails, then Compose, or Ask Des to write to them; Get Paid, then Contracts, then New contract for a plan that repeats on its own.
PhoneOpen Customers, then At Risk. Ask Des on the bottom bar; Get Paid, then Contracts, then New contract.

Three ways, depending on how far you want to go. Customers → At Risk lists who was active and has not paid you in ninety days — the people a spring or fall reminder is for. Ask Des to write to them ("email everyone I haven't seen since March about a tune-up") and it drafts one note per customer for you to approve before anything goes out; a campaign to the whole list is the AI Partner Email add-on. For customers who should be on a schedule rather than a reminder, a maintenance plan — the contract under Get Paid → Contracts for the money, and its visits under Jobs → Plans for the work — puts the visits on the calendar and bills them on its own, and the day-before appointment reminder goes out to each visit once you turn customer reminders on.

The add-on

What do I need to send email campaigns?

ComputerEmails in the sidebar; without the add-on it shows what the page does and where to turn it on.
PhoneEmails in the Menu tab.

Campaigns, follow-up sequences and the inbox concierge are the AI Partner Email add-on, $19 a month from Boost. The messages DeskOps sends on its own — receipts, reminders, quote follow-ups, appointment notices — do not need it; they go out on every plan. Your own sending domain (Settings → Email settings) works with either. Every campaign honours unsubscribes and never leaves without you starting it.
