On a computer: Jobs in the sidebar → open the job → add the expense or materials.

On your phone: Jobs in the Menu tab → open the job → add the expense or materials.

Costs are what turn a job from revenue into profit. Until something is attached, DeskOps reports that job's margin as unknown rather than as 100% — a job with money in and nothing out is one whose costs it has not been told about, not a job that cost nothing.
