Can I put a discount on an invoice?

A discount is an amount on that one invoice, taken off the subtotal and tax, and it cannot be more than the invoice total. There is no per-customer discount rate that applies automatically — each invoice carries its own, so a standing arrangement with a customer is something you apply each time rather than set once.
