Where does "cash on hand" come from?
ComputerOpen Home, then the Cash on hand line under the chart and Update.
PhoneOpen Home, then Cash on hand and Update.
If your bank is connected, cash on hand is the bank's own balance and refreshes with the connection. If it is not, it is the figure you typed and the date you typed it — Home says "entered 26d ago" rather than pretending a number from last month is today's. Unknown stays unknown: DeskOps never invents a zero for a business whose cash it cannot see.
