On a computer: Home → Finish setting up. While nothing has been recorded, your first step sits at the top of Home; Finish setting up lists the rest, up to three, as rows; each row opens the exact field or work screen.

On your phone: Home → Finish setting up. It is the same guide, with the same reasons and destinations, laid out for the phone.

Setup guidance is for owners only. On a brand-new business, Home leads with Bring in your history, with a line naming the ways in: QuickBooks, Xero, Jobber, FreshBooks or a spreadsheet. It opens the one place every import lives; nothing is saved until you press the import button, and Undo lasts seven days. Under it sit Connect bank & payments (Connections) and send your first invoice (or start your first quote) without a connection; on a phone they sit under Other ways to start. Once your history is in, that space becomes your first look. Once connected, the next suggestion moves on to your first quote or invoice, then your first payment.

After the first week the guide stays quiet unless something you are doing is blocked. A step stays until a fresh read proves it is done. On the cards where you work, Not now hides a step for seven days.
