Why is my first Stripe payout held or asking for documents?

Paid on an invoice means the customer's payment confirmed; it does not mean the money reached your bank. Stripe decides its verification requirements and payout timing. It may ask for ID, business information or a bank statement before your first payout, or review the account later. Open your connected Stripe account and follow the requests shown there; submit documents to Stripe, not in a customer invoice or chat. Home shows a warning when Stripe reports details due, paused payouts or a payout-bank problem. A request Stripe may make someday is not a task due now. Check the payout status and your linked bank in Stripe if the deposit is late; bank processing and holidays can also delay it. DeskOps cannot release a Stripe hold or promise an arrival date while Stripe reviews your account.
