Florida and Texas both require a lien notice in a home-improvement contract, handed over before your customer signs. On a Florida home job over $2,500, DeskOps adds Florida's construction lien notice, in the capital bold type the law asks for. Your customer confirms it before accepting, and their acceptance dates it. On the PDF the notice gets its own page: before acceptance, with lines for their signature and date; after an online acceptance, with the date they confirmed it. On a Texas home job, DeskOps adds Texas's "Know your rights and responsibilities" disclosure. Both are the states' own words, printed exactly. When you haven't said whether the job is at a home, the notice is included. It is left off when you mark the job as a business. The lien notice box on an invoice is your own wording and is printed under a plain "Notice" heading.
