Why does DeskOps say a payment on this invoice is already in progress?
ComputerOpen Get Paid, then open the invoice and Mark paid. When the customer has a card on file, “Charge saved card” sits beside it.

An invoice takes one payment at a time, so the same bill is never collected twice. If your customer has the online payment page open, recording cash or charging their saved card closes that page first. If they already paid online, or a bank payment or card charge is still being confirmed, DeskOps stops and tells you which, and nothing is collected. Wait for that outcome in the invoice History, then collect only what is still owed. On an invoice Stripe sends, cash you record closes Stripe's own invoice first; if Stripe cannot, nothing is recorded and you are told why.
