When can I add a change to a signed quote?

Add a change appears for the owner on an accepted or converted DeskOps-native quote with no sales tax and a verified original signed revision. It drafts additional work or replaces an accepted item with a positive price increase; it does not rewrite the signed offer. Review the draft and send it through the normal customer-approval flow. Nothing is billed just by opening Add a change or creating the draft; the customer must approve before the change enters the final invoice.

On an excluded accepted or converted quote, open Why can’t I add a change? for its reason: a different payment rail, sales tax, an unverified signed revision, or an existing change quote (open its original signed quote). Draft and still-open quotes do not have this signed-work action. Scope reductions, zero-price changes and taxed changes are not available yet; do not use a positive change to represent a credit. The fuller amendment workflow remains deferred.
