My customer cancelled after accepting a quote — how do I record it?
Record a cancellation is there while the quote is Accepted, before it becomes an invoice, and asks who cancelled. If the customer backed out, pick how it reached you — email, mail, in person, text or phone — and DeskOps keeps a record of it: the day it arrived, the job's state, and whether it came inside the cancellation window counted for that state in business days. A late one is still kept, marked late, never thrown away; for a mailed one the date it was sent can matter, so keep the envelope. The record stays even if you delete the quote later. Your customer can also cancel from the quote link they accepted, but only when their signed copy included a Notice of Cancellation — the record is made the same way and you get an email. Pick "You" when the customer did not cancel. Any refund of a deposit is yours to send from the invoice.
