Can I charge a late fee, set terms, or change my invoice numbers?

ComputerOpen Get Paid, then Settings tab and Invoices.
PhoneOpen Get Paid, then the Settings tab, Settings for and Invoice settings.

The Settings tab on Get Paid holds the defaults every new document starts from, in four sections (on a phone, one picker under the tabs). Invoices: payment terms (net 30 and the rest), a default tax rate, the level of pricing detail shown, and the tip setting for the pay page. Invoice details also has Next invoice number: you can move it forward, never back, and a number already used is never used again. Quotes: how many days a quote stays open, the deposit asked on acceptance, the note and the terms printed on every quote, and whether follow-ups go out on day 3 and day 7. Contracts bill through the invoice defaults, and the Contracts sub-tab says so. Templates: which starter each new quote, invoice and recurring agreement opens with, and the templates you saved with Save as template on a quote (on a phone, in the quote's Manage menu). Each invoice or quote can override its own terms when you write it. DeskOps adds no late fees. Ask your attorney before adding one to your own terms. Past-due reminders still go out, with no fee on them, and a charge you are owed can always be added to an invoice as a line you type.
