Before I send a quote, how do I know whether it is a complete contract for my state?

Quotes in DeskOps are price proposals. For new quotes in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington, the quote screen, customer page, PDF and email show the same short reminder: use a separate signed contract before home-improvement work starts. DeskOps has not verified the quote as a complete home-improvement contract. Both signatures and the acceptance evidence are still kept; accepting the quote does not replace the separate contract. Older issued or signed documents keep the wording and evidence they carried. Other states keep their existing notices. Ask your attorney about the contract your business needs.
