What happens when I run out of assists?

DeskOps tells you first: at 90% of your included assists you get one note in the app and one email, with the date your month resets. After that, what happens is your choice. With extras on, the default, Des keeps going and each extra assist is 2.2¢ — $22 per 1,000, prorated as you use them, added to your next bill — up to the monthly limit on extras you set, $10 unless you change it. With extras off, or once that limit is reached, Des pauses until your month resets and a pop-up says the exact day. Nothing is ever cut off mid-task, everything that is not AI keeps working, and Help still answers how-to questions about DeskOps. Use past the allowance is counted once a day, so anything used in a month's last hours, after that day's count, is never billed.
