What happens if a payment fails?
Computera past-due banner appears at the top of every page until it clears, and Settings, then Plan & billing shows the state.
Phonethe same banner, and Settings, then Plan & billing.
A paused subscription keeps your data and stops new writes; nothing is deleted because a card bounced. Fix the card in the billing portal and it recovers.
