Open invoices keep their original amounts, recorded tax and payments already made. Their remaining balances open A/R, not new income. You can collect them in DeskOps; the import sends no customer email. Customer statements show the original amount and what was already paid, carrying only the remaining balance on the import date. Supplier payments keep their payment dates and categories; unpaid balances become Bills. Paid portions and balances stay separate. Undo keeps invoices you have collected or changed and bills you have paid or edited. Review these records after importing; an import is not a second payment.
