Opening balances and payment history
ComputerOpen Customers, then Bring in your history, choose the CSV and review the payment preview. On an empty list, use Bring in your history.
PhoneOpen Customers, then Tools and Bring in your history, choose the CSV and review the preview. If there is no Tools button, use Bring in your history under the search box; on an empty list, use Bring in your history.
Payment imports bring in collected history through the existing money register. Opening trial balances are not supported by this importer: recognizable account-balance reports are refused before any import or money write, including manual mapping. Keep those reports for your accountant. Do not also post an opening balance that includes the same imported history. DeskOps does not choose or convert an accounting opening basis automatically. Ordinary bank statements and separate collected-payment receipts remain supported.
