What does Des cost me to use?

Des runs on the assists included in your plan — 3,000 a month on the base plan — and an assist is measured by what the work actually cost, so a quick question uses a fraction of one and a long, deep one uses several. Emails Des sends, documents it produces and receipts it reads count the same way. DeskOps warns you at 80% and never stops Des mid-conversation; past the allowance, extra assists are $22 per 1,000, prorated as you use them — 500 extra is $11, never a whole block. The one exception is the AI safety limit on Boost → Plan: a ceiling on extra AI (five times your plan price unless you set your own) that only a runaway would ever reach, and that you can raise or lower yourself. Phone calls with Des are separate: a $20 pack of five calls from Boost.
