How do I change the AI's tone, bluntness or what it calls me?
ComputerOpen Ask Des, the gear icon in the top right of the page opens AI Settings — nickname; tone (Default, Sharp, Warm, Analytical or Casual); and bluntness (Default, Straight, Balanced or Soften). /assistant?openAiSettings=1 opens it directly.
Phonethe same gear in the Ask Des header, and Settings, then Des & voice carries the voice side.
There is no answer-length dial: Des matches the length of its answer to the question. Tone changes the voice — Sharp is no fluff, Warm is friendly, Analytical leads with data — and bluntness decides how much cushion comes before a hard number. You can also tell Des a preference in chat ("stop telling me that"), and it can remember it for later conversations.
