Connect money or start natively
Home invites owners to connect their bank and payments first, with an invoice, quote or import beside it if they prefer. Finish setting up lists the remaining steps for their trade.

While nothing has been recorded, your first step sits at the top of Home; Finish setting up lists the rest, up to three, as rows; each row opens the exact field or work screen.
On your phone: Home → Finish setting up. It is the same guide, with the same reasons and destinations, laid out for the phone.

In Settings
Put your business details on documents
Your business address and phone come from Business profile. Save those details before sending a customer document, so the customer knows where to reach you.

Set the value of a typical job
Average Job Value lives in Business profile. Set your own typical amount there; Des uses it as context, and it appears in alerts and data exports.

Let the data close the step
A step stays until a fresh read proves it complete. Not now hides one small setup card for seven days; a changed fact may make it relevant again.

Worth knowingA click, a save request or a toast never marks setup complete by itself.
In Connections
Give a chosen connection time to load
If your verified step was a new connection, its first year of history loads in the background. The numbers can take a few minutes to appear.
Where it is · On a computer
Connections shows the connection state, and Sync on the connected tile forces a refresh.
On your phone: Connections → the connection → Sync now.
Worth knowingDo not connect the same account twice. If it stays stuck, Connections has Sync now.
In Connections
Bring in your Xero history once
Xero brings in one fixed stretch of history — your customers, the payments received on invoices, and expenses — then disconnects on its own. You can undo it for seven days.
